Steps In Life

Life getting too tiring !

Posted by: stepsinlife on: December 5, 2009

I finally broke down after tolerating for 5 days.

To others, they may not understand why i should behave this way.  Come more…I am not a SAINT  !

What did i do to deserve this kind of treatment ?

Heartbeat ???

What have i been doing for the last few days ?

Posted by: stepsinlife on: November 10, 2009

Besides reporting to work everyday,  i did NOTHING much …perhaps waiting to get “rotton” only ?  Hahaha….

I dread of going to work tomorrow cos i am supposed to cover someone’s work ! :S  I am not being calculative !  When i am not around, no one covered my work but i have to cover someone’s work when they (Miss H & Miss P) are not around.  Is this logic ?

Anyway, to do or not to do , also ‘died’ !

If you are still around, …

Unpredictability of life

Posted by: stepsinlife on: October 21, 2009

Read an article today – on unpredictability of life – live every day as if it’s a special occasion

“Life is uncertain. No one knows what lies ahead. Some people call this fate while others accept this as part and parcel of our existence”

This led me to recall what happened 13 years ago – 3 Sep 2006.

Early in that particular morning, i received a call, my dad is in the A&E ! My mum and i rushed to hospital, thinking he might be unwell so he went in by himself. When we reached there, we could not find him. I was very worried and angry. Finally, a hospital staff approached me and bring me to confirm his name and identity card number with a policeman who was stationed at A&E. I was very puzzled, so do my mum.

Not long, we were brought to a visitor’s room. A doctor came in and verify our names, i still remember clearly he told me face to face – Your dad has passed away ! Tears rolled down from my eyes. Later, we were again brought to another room, what we saw was a cold body of my dad lying peacefully on a movable bed. We both collapsed down. He was still fine the previous night, he was still taking a short nap after dinner as usual before he left home around 9pm for his night shift driving.

When my dad passed away that year, i was only 19 years old girl with younger brother and sister aged 17 and 12 respectively and a helpless mum. We managed to live well though it was not easy. There were many problems arising after his death but we accepted as part and parcel of our lives.

Finally, i will be out of  town again for a  few days starting tomorrow night.

Tomorrow morning will be busy clearing up the work as usual  and in the afternoon i need to accompany my mum for her doctor’s appointment at hospital.  No idea how long it will take but hopefully it would not take long.

Where am i going ?  This shall be a secret for the time being.  will update with photos if possible. :)

Disappointment Again ?

Posted by: stepsinlife on: September 22, 2009

Ever since the last year incident,  i thought they should have more or less learnt how to handle and settle the ‘mess’ well.

This round, i  really wonder  – ‘Will they honour their words  ?’ and will there be another round of disappointment again ???  I really don’t know :S

Basically i lose my TRUST  in them.
